Customer Operations Manager

About the Role

The Customer Operations Manager will be responsible for building mechanisms that drive efficient business processes and accurate data and dashboards to deliver on customer requirements and internal VSEI business objectives. The Customer Operations Manager will build and manage a team with functions encompassing data analytics, vendor management, and program management in support of cost optimization, delivery execution monitoring and measurement, contingent labor, and quote-to-payment processes. This is a highly visible role that works closely with internal leaders and key customers.

 

What You Will Do
 

  • Recruit, develop and manage high performing team members
  • Develop and optimize business processes to deliver on customer requirements
  • Identify sources of data to accomplish business processes and objectives
  • Organize data to make accessible to business process owners
  • Develop internal and customer-facing dashboards and reports
  • Automate data collection and processing for accuracy and timely updates
  • Partner with stakeholders to use data to identify opportunities for improvements in cost, efficiency, and profitability
  • Collaborate with business owners, Finance, AP/AR, IT, and other departments to improve financial processes, visibility, and controllership
  • Drive fast decision making

 

What You Bring
 

  • 5+ years of experience managing business professionals
  • 10+ year of experience in data analysis, finance, inside sales, program management
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Power BI, SQL, Tableau, or other data analysis tools
  • Demonstrated success delivering results
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills; ability to work successfully in cross-functional teams and multiple levels of both management and customer contacts

 

Preferred Skills
 

  • 7+ years of experience in contingent workforce, procurement, HR, or finance
  • Experience in data center services and/or technology manufacturing industries
  • Demonstrated success influencing and delighting customers
  • Experience in SAP and ServiceNow
  • Master’s degree in business, operations, or related field
